I have owned a lot of Anker projectors (Original capsule, capsule max, capsule 2, capsule 3 laser, capsule 3, Mars 3 Air, Mars 3 and now this one, the Cosmos 4k SE.Although I'm not in any way connected to Anker, I really should get a medal for services to their company!!. I have also owned projectors from xgimi, benq, LG, elephas, etoe and Viewsonic.So... The Cosmos 4k SE...I'm extremely impressed with the picture quality. I can easily get a 150 inch picture on my living room wall that bursts with colour and is pin-sharp in darkness and is also totally viewable in daytime with the curtains drawn.I feel no need to add a sound bar as the sound is better than I expected and has enough base to feel those explosions etc in the films and TV programmes I watch.Keystone in all directions works really well. The remote is thankfully backlit. The operating system is quick and works very well. The only issue there, like most of the other projectors I have had, is that it doesn't seem to support BBC Iplayer but that can either be cast to the projector or I can add a firestick. It's simply the best projector I've ever owned and may be the cure for my addiction because until something better comes out, I'll not be buying any more.. and that could be some time!

At £999 prime day price, this was a great purchase. The picture looks amazing at 4K with dolby vision. It has advertised 1,800 ansi lumens which is enough for day time viewing (see BBC news photo - this was in a well lit room at mid day with curtains open). For night time viewing it looks absolutely amazing (See Fallout 4 PS5 image - this was at night). The OS is great as it's got Google TV which has a nice layout as you can install any android app. It's quick and responsive and I like that you don't need an external dongle. The ports on the back include AC for power, HDMI , HDMI eARC and a USB port for external storage devices. The projector is designed to be portable and has a nice silicone handle which makes it easy to transport. The projector weighs around 4.5kg. The projector will automatically keystone and obstacle-avoid using the depth sensor, as well as adapting to the colour of the wall. You can turn all of these features off, but I found them helpful for convenience, especially when moving from room-to-room.There are dedicated picture modes for gaming (standard or 'Extreme') which allow you to keep keystone on (standard) or turn keystone off (Extreme) depending on the response time needed. I found standard absolutely fine for playing call of duty. Extreme is, obviously, even better. I found no issues with input lag here. The sound is powered by 2x15W speakers and they pack a punch. I didn't feel the need to turn on my surround sound system, it was that good. For the picture quality, brightness, OS, sound system, gaming performance at this price point, I'd recommend it for anyone who needs a portable projector with a 'jack of all trades' requirement. The difficulty with recommending this projector is the lack of objective reviews. There are a lot of sponsored reviews all over youtube which don't explore the weaknesses. Having had this projector for nearly 3 weeks, I can say that the biggest flaw is the contrast. It really struggles with darker scenes and completely washes out and crushes the blacks. For me, this was a deal breaker. For others, I am sure the other features more than make up for it, especially **at this price point**.
